H.C. Andersen Marathon takes place in the heart of Odense on Sunday, 27 September 2026. Experience a vibrant city marathon on a flat, traffic-free course through the birthplace of H.C. Andersen, where runners and spectators together create a festive atmosphere.
There are distances for all levels – marathon, half marathon, 10 km and Mini Marathon – and the event is known for its great atmosphere and fast course, where many runners achieve personal bests.

How do I book parking for an event?
You can book your parking online by selecting the parking facility where you would like to park, entering your number plate and contact details, and completing the payment. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. Access to and exit from the parking facility is managed through automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).
Where do I enter my discount code?
The discount code can be entered on the payment page after you have selected your parking times and chosen the parking facility. The discount code field is located on the right-hand side of the page and is marked in green text: ADD DISCOUNT CODE. Remember to click Apply to activate the code.
Can I use more than one discount code for the same booking?
No, only one discount code can be applied per booking.
Which events can I book discounted parking for?
You can book discounted parking for selected concerts, sporting events, festivals, exhibitions, trade fairs and other major events. Please refer to the current event listing on the website to see which events are eligible for a discount with Q-Park.
Can I book parking on the day of the event?
Yes, provided there are still spaces available. However, we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your space.
My discount code is not working. What should I do?
Please check that the code has been entered correctly and is still valid. You should also make sure that the code is being used for the correct parking facility and the correct parking product.
Is it cheaper to book parking online?
Yes, booking online often provides access to the best rates and exclusive discount codes, which may not be available without pre-booking.

Is it necessary to pre-book?
It's always a good idea to pre-book your parking space, especially if you have specific times and locations where you wish to park.
By pre-booking, you are guaranteed a spot, which can be particularly important if the parking facility tends to be very busy or if there are special events or occasions nearby that may affect parking availability.
By pre-booking, you avoid arriving at the parking facility and discovering it's already fully booked, which can be frustrating and time-consuming when trying to find an alternative parking option.
So, to ensure a hassle-free parking experience and to enjoy the best benefits, it's always a good idea to pre-book your parking space whenever possible.

Can I change or cancel a booking?
Changing your reservation
You cannot make changes to your reservation once it has been confirmed. You can, however, use your cancellation rights and cancel the reservation via the link in the booking confirmation email. You can then make a new reservation at www.q-park.dk.
Cancelling your reservation
If you wish to cancel your reservation you may do so within 14 days of completing your order. When completing an order more than 14 days in advance of your parking reservation, you may wish to add our optional cancellation insurance, which allows you a full refund on your purchase up until the selected time of arrival.

What should I do if I have a rental vehicle and do not know the vehicle’s registration number?
For bookings at our facilities with ANPR, you will need to enter your registration number to complete a booking.
At our facilities without ANPR, you may complete a booking without your registration number.

Can I drive out and back into the car park during the period booked?
It depends on the type of ticket you have purchased.
With a Single ticket, you can enter and exit the parking facility once. Once you exit the parking facility, your booking is no longer valid and you cannot re-enter. With a Multi ticket, you may exit and re-enter the parking facility as often as you like for the entire duration of your booking.Most of our products are Multi tickets. You will always be able to see from the product description if you are buying a Multi or a Single ticket.

Arrival and parking instructions
If your are parking at one of our facilities with ANPR, simply drive up to the barrier. It will open automatically once your number plate is recognised.
If the camera does not recognise your number plate, please scan the QR-code which you received in your confirmation email.
When leaving the parking facility, drive to the barrier again, and it will open automatically. If your stay exceeds your booking, the excess amount will be automatically be withdrawn from your account.
If your are parking in one of our few facilities without ANPR, you will need to scan the QR-code from your booking confirmation at the entry barrier. Once you scan your QR-code, you will receive a ticket. Please take this ticket with you as it is your entry key to the parking facility.
When you are ready to leave the car park, drive up to the exit barrier and use your ticket to open the barrier. If your stay exceeds your booking, please wither go to the pay station, insert your ticket, and pay the excess amount - or pay directly at the exit barrier.

What happens if I park for longer than the period I have booked?
If you have booked parking in one of our facilities with number plate recognition, you have already approved at the time of booking, that we automatically deduct the part of your parking wich is beyond your original booking.
If you for example, arrive earlier (no more than two hours before the start of your booking) or stay longer than you have booked, you will automatically be charged for the additional time at the parking facilities standard tariff to the payment card you registered when booking your parking.
You must pay for parking for the entire reservation period, regardless of when you enter or exit the parking facility.
You may enter the parking facility up to 15 minutes before your booking starts without any additional charge. The barrier opens automatically and you can simply leave the parking facility. We automatically withdraw the money and you don't need to do anything else.
If you have booked parking in one of our facilities without number plate recognition, you must either go to a payment machine, insert the ticket and pay for the extra parking - or insert the ticket into the toll booth and pay for the extra time directly at the exit. The price of your extra parking time follows the parking facility's standard rate.You will be charged for the extra parking in excess of the period paid for when you insert your parking ticket at the exit boom or in the ticket machine.
The price is based on the current rates of the car park.
